Biography:

Leonid Anisimov graduated from the Grozny Petroleum Institute and holds a Candidate degree in hydrogeology and Doctor degree in geochemistry. Не is a professor at the Volgograd State University, Russia. Previously, he worked at Saratov State University as a Head of Hydrogeology and Engineering Geology Department and Chief Researcher at LUKOIL-Engineering, Volgograd, Russia. He worked as a petroleum geologist and reservoir engineer in the South Volga and Caspian Region. His scientific interests focus on the hydrogeology, reservoir geology, origin and geological setting of groundwaters and  hydrocarbons. He has published 4 monographs and more than 200 research articles (in Russian and English).
